Hello all
Great news, the bowls green has opened for the summer season. The men have done a fantastic job over the winter and the green is in a beautiful condition for the season. We are all very lucky to have such an amazing green to bowl on and other teams often comment on the quality of our green. This only happens due to the hours of hard work put in by some of the men of the club all year round.
We had an open day at the bowls green last weekend - it was a chance for everyone to dust of their bowls and have a roll up to get their eye back in as well as an opportunity for us to meet with some new players this season. A very warm welcome to those who have joined us. It is never too late to come and join the club and we are always happen to give some hints and tips to help you along the way. We have many friendly fixtures and are happy to include new members.
What I will do as the season progresses is try to keep you up to date with events at the club. If we hold any open days or fun days, the results of friendly fixtures and keep you up to date with our teams who have entered special competitions. Over the next few days I will be updating the website with the competitions we have entered and which teams will be playing.
